There is a limit of 25 people but if I get more than the limit, I will request more tickets - no guarantee.

The world of the long-haul trucker isn’t glamorous, even when the trucker in question is the beautiful Diane Ford, played by Michelle Monaghan (Gone Baby Gone, Eagle Eye, Mission: Impossible III). You got your drinking, your smoking, and your one night stands. But the trucker life pleases Diane just fine, until one of her reckless dalliances rears its head in the form of an 11-year-old estranged son. With his father (Benjamin Bratt) in the hospital, Diane is forced to take care of her child, threatening the open-road, free-wheeling existence she loves. Led by Monaghan's">Monaghan's nuanced performance, Trucker is a finely crafted independent film by first time writer-filmmaker James Mottern that skillfully succeeds in examining a unique character at a crossroads. James Mottern. 2008. 93 m. R. US. Monterey Releasing.

Q&A: filmmaker James Mottern and actress Michelle Monaghan will be interviewed by New York Times critic Janet Maslin.

Good venue. Good film, discussion and then just relaxing at the diner afterwards. Nice way to break up the week.
    •  Great movie, well written and directed and I loved seeing Michelle and James afterward.
    •  The film was great. It introduced me to a world about which I knew nothing and did it with a moving personal story. The background was almost like a documentary; the story line moving and dramatic. All of the actors were excellent. The "child" - in Quotes because he was so wise for his age- was thouroughly believable and Michelle was flawless.
    •  I apologize for not coming to the movie and possibly taking up a free ticket. I am a psychotherapist and had to see someone for a much longer session than I expected. Jim Walkup
    •  Really good movie! Really good Q & A!
