Introduction

I love movies outside of the hollywood mainstream. I prefer character and the richness of human emotion over car crashes, and gratuitous violence/ sex.

What are some of your favorite Films, and who are a few of your favorite Directors?

Some favorites...... American Beauty, African Queen, The Lives of Others, Wait a minute... you mean I have to remember the names? I'll be back! Okay...more: Midnight Cowboy, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Man Facing Southeast, Bulworth, Sling Blade, Being There, Monster's Ball, Dead Man Walking. Platoon, Born On the Fourth of July The Unforgiven. Hmmm, just realized there are a lot more American films I like that than I thought.

What is your favorite type of film to see at the JBFC: documentary, independent, foreign, classic?

Whatever turns me on.

When the best day and time to meet for a film outing at the JBFC?

Usually flexible schedule.........when I am not too busied out!
