Iron Man

All right! I don't want to wait until next Wednesday for showtimes, so let's move a day earlier to Thursday, where we have some schedule visibility. As we've banned Regal Union Square, the closest theater to my apartment is Kips Bay -- we'll head over to Third and Long after.

I look like my picture, I'm the size of a house, and I'll have the sign Beth laminated for me -- I'll be waiting for you at the top of the down escalators. This is the opening of the third weekend for this film; whether you buy your tickets in advance is up to you, but it's safer in any case. Here's the link:

So, Magnolia (based on Aimee Mann songs) was so popular that apparently somebody has run with the theme and decided to make a film based on Black Sabbath songs. I hope they work some themes from Children of the Sea in. In any case, we're going to see it.

Ah... yeah. Do you think all of America's weapons producers are working under duress? "They threatened to shoot my dog if I didn't put nuclear reactors in submarines!" "Nobody said they were going to use my unmanned drones to kill!" If only they'd thought of building high-tech suits of armor and escaping. Hopefully, this movie will show them the way.
