"Be warned, this is group is now a money making venture. I've been to several events, the organizer was nice, but then the day after one event she asked for five dollars. While I understand that members have to pay, I felt it was a bit tactless. The previous organizer, Eric charged a fee, but would periodically get things like free double features at various theaters, so the fee was understandable. This organizer, Alison is now organizing an "exclusive" meetup here http://movies.meetup .com/696/?gj=wg2_ej1 b. She said it was for those who regularly attend "all" movie meetups, besides this. I've been active on several for the past year two years but for some odd reason she declined my membership. I find this in very bad taste, considering that she charges to attend her meetup. Also I have witnessed her saying things about the weights and hygiene, of other members, behind their backs at various meetups. As a BBW myself this offended me!"
