Boston Movie Group

We are a group of movie fans that get together frequently to watch movies in the Boston area. We see all kinds of movies at theaters around town and occasionally in the suburbs. We usually head out to a resteraunt afterwards for some munchies and a discussion. In addition to our social gatherings, free movie preview events are announced to our members. Typically a pass is made available that members can print out. But be advised, it's first come first serve, and the theaters do fill up. You can show up and not get in - so be early! And those events typically aren't social, just an opportunity to see a movie for free before everyone else! The group's organizers do have a favor to ask - if you RSVP "yes" to an event, please do come, or change your RSVP to "no". We do have a three-strikes-and-yo u're-out policy, if you RSVP "yes" and then don't show three times then, well, you're out. But we don't want to do that! Come on out! Treat yourself to a movie and a lively discussion! We love movies and if you do too, come and join us!

Our next meeting:

The movie is at 7:35. I'll be in the theater lobby 30 minutes before showtime (7:05), and we'll head into the theater playing the movie ten minutes before showtime (7:25).
I'll be wearing my red hat with the meetup logo. If the movie is upstairs, I'll be waiting by the tables near the window. If downstairs, I'll be behind the rope where the tickets are torn across from the popcorn stand. Read more
