I now know the movie time, it's at 7, so I will be at the movie theater in the line at 6:30 with my red meetup hat. My car has filled up, so if you need a ride or can give rides, post a comment.

Also, the Dark Knight has sold out on all the evening shows on opening weekend. Since we are seeing it the weekend after, there will be less pressure, but I strongly encourage folks to buy tickets online ahead of time as soon as possible. Original Description

Note this is for the IMAX theater in Reading. We may also have a Dark Knight event at the Boston Common, but so far this is it for Dark Knight. If you need a ride up to Reading I can pick up folks at the Sullivan Square T stop. Send me an email through meetup; just click on the envelope icon next to my picture.

For new folks, if you miss the gathering before the film, no worries, we regroup after the film just outside the room where the film shows. And then we go out to discuss the movie over munchies and a beer. Or two.

Synopsis

"The Dark Knight" reunites director Christopher Nolan with star Christian Bale, who returns to continue Batman's war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Heath Ledger), who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.
