Visual Futurist: The Art & Life of Syd Mead

To celebrate they're 5th anniversary, Vancouver ACMSIGGRAPH has put together a fantastic evening of entertainment featuring a presentation by legendary futurist Syd Mead.

Event Details:

Event is free but you are responsible for your own movie ticket!

Ticket costs for the evening are $20 (before April 25th - $25 after the 25th) and include the film screening as well. They can be purchased in advance at the Vancouver ACMSIGGRAPH website.

The event will unfold something like this:

6PM - drinks and book signing
7PM - Main Presentation by Syd Mead
9:30PM - Screening of Blade Runner: The Final Cut

I urge you to purchase your tickets in advance! These events tend to sell quickly! Loads of details on the event here and on Syd Mead at his official website.
