please excuse this intrusion, as my message has very little to do with the focus of our group. I just wanted to alert you to the cleveland orchestra’s free holiday concert thursday evening on public square, fireworks included.
if you are not interested, please just delete this message now and forgive my note. since this annual event has not been posted by any meetup group, i didn’t want our members to miss this great opportunity. the activities start at 5 p.m. with various music performances. the cleveland orchestra plays at 9 p.m. followed by fireworks. everything is free! is anyone interested in taking matters into our own hands and having an unofficial meetup on public square? i believe that you will need to bring your own chair or blanket. email me if you are interested. we will need to select an initial meeting location and times. when you respond please include any suggestions, your mode of transportation (rail or car) and where you’re coming from. A cell phone number would also be helpful. bill chagrinfalls@yahoo.com CLEVELAND, June 15, 2009 – The Cleveland Orchestra, under the direction of guest conductor Loras John Schissel, will perform its 20th annual free Star-Spangled Spectacular community concert on Thursday, July 2, on Public Square in downtown Cleveland.
