Toshio Matsumoto may not be a famous Japanese film maker but the film did influence Kubrick when he made A Clockwork Orange.

To give a taste of what's in store and whether it's your thing or not, check out :- http://www.youtube.co...

Film starts at 4pm but I'll be there from about 3.15pm. I can't imagine that it will be sold out but who knows. See you there.

"I enjoyed the cinematography, great black and white photography and framing on shots, but I think the movie has tremendously aged as a whole, and what was probably once a very provocative and meaningfull statement, has become an artistic bore. I liked the story idea though, the asian structure of time, and the documentary like interviews here and there. It reminded me of Gus Van Sant's "My own private Idaho", which also includes interviews of young gay people from the underground. I can't help thinking he knew this movie when he made his. Isabel"

  • Richard Francis
"The film didn't hold together as a feature but there were some interesting images and techniques used."
