Details

'OSS 117' is a French spy-movie franchise that pre-dated James Bond. Now it's back as a spoof of itself and the Bond flicks. Won the Golden Space Needle for best film at the 2006 SIFF.

Showtime is at 7:00, so let's meet 6:30-6:45. We'll head to Flowers afterward for our post-film socializing.

Unless there are special rates for Tuesday, the $6.75 admission is for senior citizens (62 and older). I went to see The Flight of the Red Balloon last night expecting to pay $6.75 and ended paying $9.25. Again, OSS 117 is highly recommended.

Saw this movie during the 2006 SIFF. The Neptune Theater was packed, and the audience laughed so hard. It was the funniest film that I had seen in a long time. I was wondering why it took so long to find a USA distributor of this great comedy. Scarecrow video has a DVD of this film; however you need a region 2/PAL dvd player to view it. Also, the subtitles in the DVD are not as funny as the big screen version. Don't miss this one.
