Group Guidelines

1. RSVP yes only if you are going. Remember if you say yes and something comes up, you are always able to change it. This is what I would expect of a friend if we were getting together and I think most others would expect this of me:) Particularly in the case of movie screenings or other occasions when there are limited spaces. Too many "yes" no shows will end in removal from the group. Also, RSVP even if it's a no. This shows if you are interested or not in the event

2. Create a profile. Each member must create a profile. Remember, this is an opportunity to express yourself! (It also helps to post your photo so the event leader and other participants can recognize you at events.)

3. Be active. Active means visiting the site at least once a month. (Of course there are exceptions like vacations, having babies, and such). Attend events. If the dates/times/places don't work for you, this is your chance to speak up. Tell me when/where and I'd be happy to set it up. Also, this is a venue to share relevant opportunities and events with the group, such as screenings for local film talent, a special event being held by a theater, or free movie passes being handed out.

4. Respect others. Be respectful towards fellow members on the site and at the Meetups. Rude behavior will end in immediate removal from this group. Soliciting is considered rude behavior. There will be no emailing me or other members to sell, advertise, or promote business of any kind.

5. Contribute. It costs money to host this site. Starting June 1st, 2007 there will be a required membership fee of $4 a year per member. Any additional funds in the kitty after hosting is paid will go towards a special dinner or event.
