I am a movie buff and would like to organize some events for this meetup group. Right now my specialty is movies that are only available as non-region 1 DVDs (ie not available in the USA).

"Keep in mind that many of the movies that were shown in Seattle were never shown in the Eastside (Red Cliff, Raja 1918, Paris, Z, Black Dynamite, Warlords). Other films might have had a delayed opening in the Eastside (Hurt Locker)."

"My meetup write-up gave a very specific location inside the theater which was not difficult to find (by the table with film literature. I was there from 1:15 to 1:30 with some other meetup folks. I was wearing my beret inside the theater. ..."
