Introduction

I am a huge movie fan myself, but never quite make it to the big screen often enough... I am hoping that starting this meetup group will get me going more often. I generally tend to prefer comedies, so expect a few of them to get listed ;-)

So what is your favorite movie and why?

Armageddon - I love apocalyptic movies (can't spell though ;-), and this was one of the best - As a space enthusiast, this movie really captured a lot of my interests all at once...
