Rain or shine if you are not at GARF come see the Pirate Ship and pound A NAIL, drill a hole, weave a rope or just sweep the floor. We will do what YOU CAN DO! We only have 3 more weekends to finish and we need all the help we can get. I am bringing a grill, hot dogs and home made cider and beer. We will do what we can with what we have every weekend. E-mail, call or drop off materials. Show your support early and catch a ride on the float. If you can't make it this weekend sign up for the next. If you want to bring some food we have refrigerators waiting. If you have a lot of GOLD share it, I promise not to spend any money on Rum! (wink-wink) Any of you that want to work during the week, contact me I can usually flex a few hours and meet. The theme of the Dunnwoody Parade this year is EAGLE? I guess a buzzard will do, so if anyone has some poultry that resemble this and will allow us to borrow for the 4th please bring or contact This is not a GARB event. It is a work party and we will be gettin' dirty! It is also not Kid Friendly or a drinking party..... well maybe later when we are too tired to work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Still need: Barnacles for the hull, number 8 full round nails 21 degree, decorative grommets for rope holes, decorative cats head carving (6 x 4 max) two pieces 5 ft long really big rope 2" or better, old wooden Barrels, iron straps and anything that we can add that looks primitive and nautical. See ya there! Quartermaster Hardwood.
