Last big work party before the 4th!

A heart filled thanks to any and all of our guild that have contributed blood, flesh, sweat, tears, Gold, food time and on and on ....... The little things like sweeping and cleaning cooking and gathering sorting weaving sewing painting staining mean so much. Those all have to be done and add to the completion. We are running out of time and money and need your support. A few brave souls have weathered the brutal heat and have pledged to return next Saturday to begin the finial stages of construction, but we need more hands to finish on time. This will be the last big push to raise the mast, Attach the barnacles rig the Catlin, stay the jib and hoist the anchors. Did I mention paint?

Saturday WILL BE HOT! WILL WILL SWEAT! WE WILL SUCCEED!

Take a second to flip through the photo album and get excited! We have cannon that smoke, Real Barnacles for the hull. Sail cloth that was damaged by gun fire, well ........... gunpowder fire. A beautiful maidenhead (PG Version) working Catheads for the anchors and more. Yes there's a lot of standing around sometimes and yes it is really HOT, but we can use your presence even if it is to hold the end of a board or rope, chase down escaping pencils, find the ZZZiiZZZIIIZzzz thingy. So many members have arrived not knowing how to connect an air hose or chuck a drill bit, run a screw gun, whip a rope end but when they leave they have a sense of self accomplishment that money can't buy.
