Sex and the City followed with Paint

The continuing adventures of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda as they live their lives in Manhattan four years after the series ended.

Four years after the final HBO episode, Carrie and her pals are taking another bite out of the Big Apple. Despite their newly "settled" lives, they're about to find out that happy endings belong only in fairytales. Carrie is on the verge of tying the knot with her Mr. Big when disaster strikes, but we're not sure of the details, because this movie rivals Indy 4 where plot secrecy is concerned. What we do know: Carrie will take on an assistant, and Charlotte will take on a maternity wardrobe.

Three Good Reasons

• It's been too long since we've seen this quirky quartet! We've been waiting patiently for a movie ever since the credits rolled on the last episode.
  
• Jennifer Hudson, Oscar-winning Dreamgirls diva, joins the cast as Carrie's naive but talented new assistant (and she puts those pipes to work in the closing credits).
  
• Patricia Field, the costume designer who gave the ladies their signature looks for the show, is back for the movie. And she's brought her giant fabric flowers with her.
  

TIME:
Movie is at 3:10pm but please arrive at 2:30pm so we can all get seats together. This is not the movie to arrive late as I suspect it will be filled to capacity.

MOVIE TRANSPORTATION:
This theater has a parking lot for an additional fee of $2 and is good for several hours. It is also easily accessible by the Diversey Ave, Fullerton, or Western Avenue bus. Paint is a 5 minute bus ride away from the theater so everything is close.

• Nails $8-$55 depends on whether you want paraffin, mani & pedi, acrylic, etc
  
• Mini facial $45-$75 depends on whether you want a 1/2-1 hour

• Wax $10-$50 obviously the range is based on whether you just want brows or a larger body area
  

Movie tickets MUST be bought online before the event. It is highly likely that Sex and the City will sell out.
