Welcome!

This group is for anyone who enjoys films of all genres and enjoys getting together with a group of intelligent, friendly people to see a movie and go to lunch afterwards at a nearby restaurant.

Our goal is to get together once or twice a month (or perhaps weekly - I'll see as the meetings progress) in Fremont/Newark and catch an early Saturday morning show, then meet at a nearby restaurant for lunch/discussion.

Assistant Organizers are welcome to host events according to their film preferences and day and time availabilities, so we often have events on different days of the week for those who have busy weekends or simply prefer to catch a movie during the weekdays or on a Sunday.

Our get-togethers are fun, friendly, and low-key, with film choices spanning suspense, drama, comedy, action/adventure, horror, documentary, and international films - and post-movie discussions on entertainment, politics, social activities, business, education, and more.
