  •  Hey Calli: Well, I've done it again. I stepped down from the Paramount group, so if you're interested in being the organizer ... it's there for you. I know you're busy, but ... if you'd like to be an assistant organizer for the Drafthouse group ... I'd love to have you ... whenever you can squeeze the time in. Hope all is well.

  •  Thanks Calli, it was great getting introduced to the Strand/Paramont and you and your mom. I had a good time and will go back there often. Can't wait to try out the Alamo Draughthouse.

  •  Hi Calli-sorry I missed you! When I got there the line was already long and I didn't know how to recognize the group. My son came with me though, so we had fun. Wasn't that show the best? John even said that it was a particularly good 'choose your own' show. Glad we got to see it!

  •  Hey Calli: Are you up for Underworld ? I asked Suz, and she doesn't seem to be. Just curious.

  •  Last time at the Mo' was Master Pancakes rendition of Goldfinger. Roundly entertaining except for the painfully lame 10 or so minutes of skit wedged somewhere annoyingly near the last third of the movie.
I wanted too see Let the Right one in but its limited show times never jived. Did you see that one?

  •  Thanks Calli thats very gracious of you, I just finished writing at the green Muse and am off to Vulcan, (yeah Im pathetic) but my butts getting sore, I love this place but the chairs are freakin hard!
Did you make it to wrestler? I did not, but I heard it is true to Aronofsky form, and will make you feel like your lying UNDER the ground, after the epic beatdown only Aronofsky can craft. I still wanna see it but it sounds like you better pack prozac if you go see it alone, what R your thoughts?

  •  Hi Callli: Actually, I've tried it both ways ... a meetup before the film, and .... a meetup after the film. I don't know why, but meetups after a film seem to work better. Also, when I wear my red skinny jeans ... people always find me. What ever you're most comfortable with ... a meetup before or a meetup after ... either way works for me. I think one of those cupcakes has my name on it anyways. ;-)

There's sooo many great shows/events comin up at the Alamo.
I may end up goin to this one by myself, but DJ Spooky will be here for an event.
I gotta see the 'Subliminal Kid' in the flesh.

OK, will add you as an assistant organizer/greeter.

Absolutely, there's nothin quite like the Alamo !!!
    Good times.
