Welcome, North Bay Independent Film Fans!

Please join us for monthly get-togethers on the "Second Sunday" to go to the movies - followed by coffee or a glass of wine and something to eat at a local cafe. The title of this group has recently been changed to the "North Bay Independent Film Group" because we will focus on selecting independent films being shown at one of three (3) local movie theatres in Marin. These three (3) theatres are the Rafael Film Center (San Rafael), the "CineArts at Sequoia" (Mill Valley) and the "CineArts at Marin" (Sausalito). We will notify you of the selected film, location and screening time on Thursday of that week - since that is when the weekend schedule is published. We will plan to attend the later afternoon matinee (approximately 4pm) and, for those who are interested, we will gather together afterwards at a local cafe for a cup of coffee or glass of wine and a bite to eat with a group of new friends who share a common interest in independent films. This way you can hike during the day (or whatever else you plan for your Sunday) and finish your Sunday with a late afternoon movie and a gathering of new friends at a nearby cafe to discuss the film afterwards and socialize.
