About Dinner and Movie House Party (Singles Preferred)

Welcome to Dinner and Movie House Party!


We hope you like this humble, yet quite fun, group! Our usual event is very simple - an evening with 25-30 new and old friends having dinner, socializing in the backyard, and watching a great movie!

Our usual events offer plenty of time to socialize. The selected movie for the evening starts an hour or hour-and-a-half after the event start-time. After, most people leave, but folks are welcome to stick around for a bit to keep the party going a little longer.




Directions


Subway Stop - 1 Line to 86th and Broadway

This stop is the closest. The apt is located on 84th St between Riverside and West End (West End is one block west of Broadway).

Gristedes: NW corner of 86 and Broadway - the largest grocery store in the vicinity. Not much of a deli.

Broadway Farms: NW corner of 85 and Broadway with a decent deli.

Mitchell's Wines & Liquors: 86th St, east of Broadway on the south side of the street. Reasonable prices.

Subway Stop - 1 Line to 79th and Broadway

A couple short blocks further away, but at this stop you can get some great food to share at local favorite Zabar's, with an *incredible* deli, between 80/81 and Broadway.




Membership Rules


Membership in this group is considered a privilege and the organizer team expects all members to meet certain obligations:

• If we ask for a specific amount of food (e.g. $15 worth), then please bring at least that amount. The greeter at the door reserves the right to charge to make up the difference.
  
• We expect our members to be friendly, courteous, and welcoming to new members.
  

Violation of these rules is grounds for dismissal from the group. Again, we are adults, please respect our rules of membership.
