Mongol is part one of an epic triolgy that illuminates the life and legend of Genghis Khan. Based on leading scholarly accounts, Mongol delves into the dramatic and harrowing early years of the ruler who was born as Temudgin in 1162. As it follows Temudgin from his perilous childhood to the battle that sealed his destiny, the film paints a multidimensional portrait of the future conqueror, revealing him not as the evil brute of hoary stereotype, but as an inspiring, fearless and visionary leader.
**The showtime is 4:20pm. We'll meet up 15-20 minutes ahead of the show in the lobby of the theater.**
~ Discussion and dinner to follow the movie. I was thinking Mongolian BBQ but the closest place seems to be in Raleigh. Does anyone know of a Mongolian BBQ place close or a good sit down Chinese restaurant?
