Where are all those people who saw "Lust, Caution" last year? Did you know it was a retread of a Fifth Generation flick called "Shanghai Triad" minus the explicit sexuality? Or how about Sandra Bullock's '06 romance, "The Lake House," which was a remake of a Korean film entitled "Il Mare?" Did you see Hsaio-Hsien Hou"s "Three Times" and wondered what the fuss was all about? Looking to support Asian films in the San Francisco market, and also local filmmakers whose primary themes are Asia or Asian Americans. You don't have to be Asian, only a fan of Asian cinema to join this meetup.
