Q. What's this group about?
A. If you enjoy independent, foreign, cult or offbeat films and enjoy seeing films & having great conversations with other film fans but having problems finding like-minded young film fans who share your interests, well that's what this group is for! We meet every week to check out new features in Tempe, Chandler, Mesa and Phoenix, usually preceded by dinner at a different restaurant where we discover diverse dining destinations and dissect them Top Chef style. So if you live in the East Valley and enjoy hanging out with other young professionals, then feel free to join! We've been meeting for a bit prior to this group forming but decided to broaden it out.

Q. What kind of movies do you watch?
A. We watch & discuss everything from No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, Iron Man & Hulk to Big Trouble in Little China, Conan the Barbarian, The City of Living Dead, Lucio Fulci's Zombi & 70's exploitation thrillers and classic horror to kitschy sci-fi.

Q. And there's food involved?
Some of the recent places we've dined include Havana Cafe, Black Forest Mill, Rincon Peruano, Delhi Palace among many others in the East Valley.

So join up!

“Hi everyone, I'm Sarah. Movies are my primary addition, second to NPR. I mostly take in films at home that I've checked out from the library, so joining this group will be great for a more interactive film experience. :)”
