NB Meet Up is Changed, it is NOT Vue Light anymore. We will be driving to The Showcase cinema for the 7: 20 showing. The meet up point is Joseph's Well Car Park. You access this from the road going up next to Park Lane College, its opposite the Maternity Unit of the LGI...and there are plenty of cars available to take people inluding mine... My mobile is 07985 780284 I'll be there from 6:45...

Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey in a thought provoking sci-fi directed by David Bowie's sprogling, hence the expression MUST SEE!! Empire compares it to Silent Running and now you really are grabbing my attention. Friday 24th first showing at the Light AFTER 6.45pm but we won't know the exact time until Tuesday 21st or if it is even on there...the UK release date of this is 17th so it should be.....looking forward to this one

    Great film. Could've turned into an action film but stayed thoughtful. Rockwell played both parts well, liked the differences between the mellowness of the chrs. Great 70s white sets! Need to re-watch Silent Running now. Enjoyed meeting you all.

    Its 1 hr 37 mins long. Vue Light finishes therefore at 11:42 pm so bear that in mind when voting. If we do go to The Showcase we will be back in Leeds city centre for 9:40 pm ish...

    Good Grief!!! Vue Light only has 1 evening showing, starting the film at 9:45 (+20 mins) so it would finish after midnight. I vote instead we go to The Showcase which is showing Moon at 7:20(+20 mins). I'm going to email everyone to see what people think.

    Vue Light still not posted times for Friday as at Tuesday evening, contingency exists for Showcase Batley instead

    My American film pen pal wrote about Moon "Loved it!! Sam Rockwell did a fabulous job in a very difficult task! Well directed and I thought it captured the isolation and lonliness just about perfectly. GERTY was nicer than HAL..... " Rockwell is a brilliant actor, I've thought so after I saw him in the Jesse James/Robert Ford (crap) film when he was the best thing in it. Excited now. We will sit further back this time...
