What: Movies When: Sunday nights Where: Lower Fairfield County Sunday nights are great for going to the movies - the theaters aren't not as crowded as Saturday nights and it's a relaxing, fun way to wind down the weekend. Depending on the time, place and attendees, we can get a bite to eat before the film or a drink or coffee after. Also depending on the attendees, we can pick what we want to see. Hello, this group is all about going to the movies, well that and the occasional play. Much of what we will see will be local to Stamford, but there will be out of town events as opportunities arise. In keeping with our origins as a group dedicated to "art films" there will be allot of independent and less main stream choices. There will also be the chance to get together for new blockbusters, for drama, action, comedy and science fiction. Just about anything goes.

This group is for food lovers, movie buffs and people who don't want to trek to Manhattan to eat a good meal, see a movie or do something fun. There are great restaurants and movie theaters in the area. We'll dine on different cuisines and discuss movies and topics of the day! So come one and all and meet new and interesting people. Get out of the house and mingle with the singles of Queens. All are welcome!!!

      Let's go to the movies. Each month a film will be chosen either by the organizer or by our members through a poll and they will then have the opportunity to attend the showing at a local Long Island N.Y. theater (Westbury, Seaford, Farmingdale, Levittown etc.) We will meet in the lobby of the specified theater where we will individually pay for our own tickets.
