… The group meets for movies at either the Franklin Mills, or Neshaminy Mall and after the movie we continue for drinks/ food and socialize for a few hours. Movies are our main dish but we do so much more. Other activities include concerts, Karaoke, Museums, Theater, Dinners, and so much more. This is a great way to build a network of friends in your community. Lets take a chance and meet our neighbors.

Once a month, we gather together in a space in West Philly that can fit up to 60 people to watch a movie and talk about it. We generally focus on recent dvd releases of foreign, independent, and documentary films. After watching the film together, we have a discussion which usually lasts about 50 minutes. It's been great to meet people from so many different backgrounds and see the value that diversity adds to our group and discussions. Javaflix is a free event.

The Hiway Theatre Film Discussion Group takes place on the 2nd Monday of each month in the theatre lobby immediately following the 7 pm screening of the current film.
